Name: Samuel Beschi Age: 26 Water Use: Needs clean water to survive First Appearance: 01/08/2005 INFORMATION Beschi was born to human parents working as slaves under Domingo in the post-mess world. They gave up their clean water rations to feed him, slowly dying from radiation poisoning. When he was 13 years old, he tried to run away to prevent becoming a slave himself, but was quickly captured. During that capture, he managed to kill one of Domingo's men and injure another. He was whipped and beaten for running away, but Domingo decided that he might make a decent fighter and added him to the lowest rankings of his groups: meatshield. Despite this, Beschi succeeded. He had to work hard to stay alive, being one of the first put out in most units. By 20 he'd proven himself to the point of joining the more elite ranks, a very rare priveledge for a human, and met an other named Carl. The two got along remarkably well and Beschi looked to Carl as something of a mentor, but even moreso as a friend. When Carl was made into a commander, he pulled Beschi in as his right-hand man despite worthy others who wanted the position, which built an air of resentment towards Beschi by others outside of Carl's group. Beschi isn't particularly strong or agile, but he is highly determined, making him a formidable adversary for opponents who didn't care as much. Being a human meant he had to work harder to maintain some level of respect, and while he failed at times, he tried always. Unfortunately his gun is no better than most people in the post-mess world, but a bullet-proof vest provided by Domingo through Carl would help in case anyone managed to get off a shot in his direction. |
