INFORMATION

Carl was born into the world of post-mess. Many of his kind had been born into well-supported families, but his three parents had immigrated from beyond the curtain in the old days and were forced to become workers in the railway system after the mess, searching for corpses to be used as fuel in exchange for food and water. Carl's parents brought him up into this trade, but at a point in his adolescence, he decided it wasn't what he wanted to spend his life doing on Earth. After brief consideration about going back through the curtain, he decided to remain in his birth-world and find a line of work more suited to him.

He eventually joined Domingo's group as a grunt, earning little bits of food and water, and slowly climbed the ranks. When he joined Domingo's more elite groups, he met another new recruit, a human named Beschi, and the two became friends quickly. When Carl became his group's commander under Roger's guidance, he first selected Beschi as his right-hand man. The pair were closer than any other commander and team-mate in Domingo's hierarchy. The team prospered for a while until they were sent to intercept Damian DeMarco at the station next to the Flagstone Runner's tracks.

Carl isn't a perfectly humanoid other. His primary head contains his brain, while his secondary head is an enormous mouth, the neck of which contains digestive juices. Carl's kind also have two tongues in their speech mouth locating on their chests, enabling a large variety of possible sounds. Carl uses a shotgun usually, but his second head and hand-to-hand combat ability makes him deadly even when his gun isn't working.
