INFORMATION

Codine was hard to overlook when he first appeared in the post-mess world. At first he was suspected to be a mindless brute, but it became clear when he arrived at Domingo's base that he had intelligence. He negotiated a freelance contract, stating clearly that in a world where long-range firearms barely worked, someone with his natural force and probably resistance to such firearms on the off-chance that they did work was highly valuable. He agreed to work for Domingo as long as needed in exchange for water in amount that was twice sufficient for a creature of his size. In the post-mess world, it was a high price and it was clear that he had bigger plans than simply to quench his own thirst, but Domingo agreed.

It surprised everyone present when he produced a young human he'd been keeping with him. He kept the spare water for her, keeping her fit and healthy. She eventually grew up to a point where she could join Domingo's network herself for her own abilities despite a handicap. Even with this attachment to a human, Codine made friends quickly, in particular one named Antonina who could relate as being the muscle of her groups. When she reached a command rank, she took he and the girl Elaine for her own group. Codine hoped to achieve a commanding rank for himself at some point, but joining a solid group was a step closer.

A reptilian mammoth, Codine stands somewhere between twelve and fifteen feet tall. His muscles bulge thicker than a human body, though he speaks clearly and intelligently. He designates himself to carrying the supplies for the rest of his group at times, though on occasion he'll carry a large piece of wood to swing at enemies. He's been shot a few dozen times and it's never made him stop. To counter-point all his strength, he has displayed loving affection to his allies and the young human in his care. He's long been considered the perfect member of Domingo's group.
