INFORMATION

Reins was born into the post-mess world to in the southern United States. He wasn't treated well because his kind looked very human despite having no real relation to humans. When he got older, he joined Jimmy's group in a manner of protest, but then seceded to Domingo's group, finding the prejudice not much better either way. There he met Rettig, and interesting other in that he didn't need clean water to survive. The two struck up an uneasy partnership at first on a whim, but eventually Reins felt them both becoming good friends. They were taken under the wing of a human named Roger, and Reins respected him greatly for not letting his kind be a burden on his shoulders.

Reins was one of the few who hated Domingo, even though he respected him. He treated him as an inferior for looking human against his will, and his occasional favoritism, such as in Maruk's case, constantly irked him. He was glad to join Carl's group with Rettig when the time came, as it meant less time on the base and more time taking out members of Jimmy's group or defending slave trades, which he did with great enthusiasm.
